Yep, I'm a Jersey Girl!
I went to Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA & graduated with a BFA in 1984. (You're doing the math now, aren't you?) In 1989 I moved to West Chester, PA - a chill, artsy town - where I began showing my work and developed a following. Soon, people from the city discovered my town and it got bigger and bigger. And busier and busier.
Having always had an affinity toward "The West" I - along with my husband (who doubles as my best friend) and my dog (who is my other best friend) moved to Colorado. Having to "start over" was a challenge but we were up to the adventure. We live in Salida, CO where I paint the scenery, animals and skies. I'm also an "Artist for Conservation" with Central Colorado Conservancy.
Balancing painting with my graphic design business really isn't a challenge any more... I feel that the two disciplines balance me and I thoroughly enjoy both.
